Two men drive a truck, hauling goods across the country. One man is an alcoholic who constantly nagged the other to stop and share a drink with him at the diners and gas stations they frequent. Sometimes the non-alcoholic would share a beer with the drunk before getting back behind the wheel. After one particular stop, the two men go on a bender and social drinker is behind the wheel when the truck gets into a fender-bender on the highway. Their employer suspends the driver indefinitely and hands the keys over to the alcoholic. The alcoholic, of course, promptly veers into oncoming traffic in the wrong lane, causing a mass of death and destruction. As the company is reviewing the extent of the damage caused by the alcoholic, he has the temerity to walk into the bosses' office, point his finger at the previously suspended driver, and say "it's all his fault!"

That, ladies and gentleman, is what this president is doing.
