Aren't fantastic. Ranging from the mid 40s to the low 50s, dependent upon who you ask.
However, if the election were held today, Obama would beat every single opponent.
Election 2012
With unemployment still in the high 9s and poll ratings below 50%, basically about as bad as they are going to get for Obama, and him STILL beating everyone else, it's not a good sign for 2012 Republicans.
If I were the GOP, I'd focus on throwing a sacraficial lamb out to Obama, such as Palin to challenge him. Then in 2016, get a moderate Republican up there and try to take back the White House. The GOP should be focused on getting back the House and Senate.
