In a vain attempt to rescue this thread, I am interested in the posturing and political calculations that are being played out in this post election period. Each side wants to position itself to take credit for any good news while blaming the other side for any bad news. After his reelection victory, Obama seems to have the upper hand in this battle, with crying John Boehner as his whipping boy. The sooner the GOP gets rid of Boehner, the better for them it will be.
