Many didn't. And while you may not care about strangers' lives, I guess you're okay with hospitals going bankrupt and/or costs being passed on to you...

For lack of health insurance?
Indigent care costs doctors and hospitals billions each year. :slap:

Before the "Affordable Care Act" there were no less needed-insured.

Do you freeze your Kool-Aid so you can suck it? :slap:

You really don't understand the costs to hospitals of people who visit the ER and then don't pay their bills? Why am I not surprised?

That is precisely what I alluded to in my previous post. Indigent care.

You incompetent poop. :slap:

The ACA neither cured nor remedied jack shit.

It simply bloated the Medicare rolls and saddled doctors and hospitals with a cacophony of expenses for which they have no choice but to pass down to the "healthcare consumers".

The ACA is the ultimate triumph of Fuck. :fu:

Odd how Medicare costs are going down, though. And how millions more Americans have coverage who didn't have before.

Coverage is irelevent. Indigent care was. You lose, mother scratch dry-hump.

Perhaps you can try rewording those two sentences so that they make sense.

In the meantime, I'll reiterate: People who couldn't afford health insurance before can afford it now. They can get preventive care that's cheaper than remedial care, which saves you money, even if you can't spell.

Would you like some facts and figures to help you grasp that, or is your tongue stuck to your Kool-Aid pop?

Nah. I've sobered up and lost interest in the thread.

Now matter how you try to spin it the fact is the law is working. Not only for those newly insured but it stopped the ripoffs insurance companies were pulling on all of us.
