(In regards to this report, retrospectively, there was an interesting story, unconfirmed, that came out of the 2004 election.
In December, 2003 a group of media executives, representatives from the NYT, the WaPo, ABC, CBS, CNN, and NBC, met with candidate John Kerry and his staff in a private Manhattan apartment, rather than in one of the more commodius, but more public, meeting rooms that would have been readily available to the members of those organizations. During the meeting they allegedly discussed candidate Kerry's lagging Presidential campaign versus the apparently much more smoothly, more efficiently run campaign of Mr Kerry's opponent, the more popular Howard Dean. Nothing appeared to change after that meeting and no announcement was forthcoming until the night of Mr Dean's reknown scream after failing to place first in the Iowa Caucuses. Apparently there was legitimate basis for Mr Dean's scream when he ultimately discovered, for it wasn't widely known at the time, that the LeftMedia had annointed John Kerry as Republican George W Bush's designated opponent the night of that clandestine December meeting)

"Progressive talking heads and journolisters meeting the President?

Any guesses in the comments as to their meeting agenda? I’m sure the these transparent media folks will disclose this on their shows tonight or within their column inches soon."

No, no, it's just sheer coincidence that they're going to arrive at the same conclusion at the same time.
