Where's the media on this?! It's ridiculous! Some Senate candidate in MO. says some off the wall stuff about a female body's reaction to rape and they immediately pin it on Romney/Ryan.. but not a word is said about Obama's WAY extreme positions on abortion..

President Obama is a radical when it comes to abortion. Not only is he "pro-choice," but he is a supporter of late term abortion. The left, led by DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, are constantly screaming about their right to "choose" while painting pro-lifers as somehow out of the mainstream. The majority of Americans are pro-life. In fact, the majority of American's believe abortion should be banned in all circumstances outside of rape, incest and a threat to the health of the mother. When the left is labeling pro-lifers as "extremists," they're distracting away from one very sinister fact: President Barack Obama supports infanticide. During his time in the Illinois Senate, Obama voted against the Born Alive Act, a bill that requires doctors to give care to babies who survive abortions. The following audio exposes Obama arguing against the legislation on the General Assembly floor, where he referred to a newborn baby as a "fetus outside of the womb."

"That if that fetus, or child, however you want to describe it, is now outside of the mother's womb and the doctor continues to think that it's non viable but there's lets say movement or some indidcation that they're not just coming out limp and dead that in fact they would then have to call in a second physician to monitor and check off and make sure that this is not a live child that could be saved?"

In the past, Obama has lied about his decision to vote against the Born Alive Act. Former Townhall reporter Amanda Carpenter detailed this in the October 2008 issue of Townhall Magazine.

Newly discovered documents from the Illinois state archives prove Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has lied about his opposition as an Illinois state senator to legislation requiring health officials to provide care to babies who survived abortion.

Obama has repeatedly claimed he would have voted for Illinois’ version of the Born Alive Infant Protection Act (BAIPA) had it included language to protect abortion rights guaranteed by Roe v. Wade, as the federal version of the bill did, which sailed through the U.S. Senate 98-0. Contrary to what Obama has said, forgotten records from the Illinois Senate archives show Obama did vote against a BAIPA bill that included such a neutrality clause virtually identical to the federal bill.

Muskett’s “smoking gun” is a 2003 Health and Human Services Committee report recorded by Republican committee staff. It documents a unanimous 10-0 vote by the 2003 Illinois Senate Health and Human Services Committee, which Obama chaired at the time, to amend BAIPA to include the exact same language that was added to the federal version to protect Roe v. Wade. The committee report also shows a subsequent “final action” vote to determine if the bill should advance out of committee or be killed. The bill was defeated 6-4. Chairman Obama voted in the majority.

This means that, in essence, Obama voted to successfully amend the bill in a way that Obama has said would have enabled him to support it—before he voted against it. It also puts Obama further to the left of NARAL Pro-Choice America. According to a statement released by the abortion-rights lobby in the run-up to the U.S. Senate’s BAIPA vote in 2002, “NARAL does not oppose passage of the Born Alive Infants Protection Act … floor debate served to clarify the bill’s intent and assure us that it is not targeted at Roe v. Wade or a woman’s right to choose.”

For those who may doubt partisan records, the Republican committee report is backed by an Associated Press article that documented the 6-4 vote on the amended version of the bill.

“The Senate Health and Human Services Committee rejected a bill that declares any fetus with a beating heart or muscle movement outside the womb as ‘born alive,’” reporter Kristy Hessman’s AP story said. Her article was filed from Springfield, Ill., and dated the same day as the Republican committee report, removing any doubt she may have been reporting on any other measure. “The measure is in response to a rare abortion procedure in which labor is induced and the fetus sometimes survives, possibly for hours,” Hessman wrote. “The sponsor, Sen. Rick Winkel, R-Champaign, said the bill is modeled after a recent federal policy that defines a ‘born-alive’ infant. But critics said defining when a fetus is ‘alive’ could require doctors to provide care and might expose them to legal action if they don’t, even if there was no way the fetus could survive outside the womb. Winkel’s bill got four ‘yes’ votes and six ‘no’ votes.”

Conservative journalist David Freddoso said these documents are “absolute proof ” Obama has distorted his position on the Born Alive Infant Protection Act.

“Obama said he would have voted for that bill if it had been like the federal bill when, in fact, he voted against it when it was like the federal bill,” Freddoso said. “So he’s been lying about it the whole time.”

That is so sick, but nope.. Not a word about that. :eusa_boohoo:

Well... Just listening to it... I don't see the problem. *shrugs*

I'm sure if you read along with the audio that you might have a problem. I don't know.

Everything seems inline and logical to me.

Nice.............your "proof" is from a right wing blog site.

Move along folks, nothing to see here............................

From what I understand, Obama felt no need to vote in favor of a bill, when there was already an existing bill, exactly the same, already on the books.

There wasn't a such law on the books. Even if there was, using your reasoning, why did he vote AGAINST it?

Love all the link - bashing.. I just couldn't find this in any mainstream press. They wanna focus on a dumb comment, not a guy that supports letting a "fetus" that's born.. just die.

But he didn't say such a thing. You're just making up strange stories.

Look, your party is getting hammered on this, and you desperately want to deflect. Yes, it is that obvious. Too bad we're not going to let you deflect.

Really?

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YUkbuhXzbvI&feature=player_embedded]Audio: Obama argues against Born Alive legislation in IL state senate - YouTube[/ame]

In 2001, then IL state Sen. Barack Obama for the 2nd year in a row was the sole senator opposing Born Alive Infant bills state senate floor.

Audio of senate floor debates is destroyed when transcripts are written. Until now only the Chicago Tribune was known to have audio of this debate but has not released it.

But we now have it. In the audio Obama is arguing against calling for a 2nd physician if the 1st physician - the abortionist - has decided the baby s/he has just aborted alive is nonviable.

Most would recognize the potential for subjective opinion in this case. The abortionist is being paid to kill the baby predelivery, and a live birth would indicate s/he botched, for one thing.

For another, often these babies are being aborted because the abortionist has stated they are handicapped. A living baby could also be evidence the abortionist made a wrong diagnosis.

Barack Obama, a self-professed champion of the little guy and opponent of bullies, in this case argued in favor of trusting the abortionist. And the reasons are obvious. The abortion lobby in 2008 promised to spend $30 MILLION for their candidates as well as get out the vote.

In this audio Obama utters these infamous words among many:

"... if that fetus or child - however way you want to describe it - is now outside the mother's womb...."

and

"... but there's, let's say, movement or some indication that, in fact, they're not just coming out limp and dead...."

Skip to about 3:31 for pertinent audio..

So, because you couldn't find it in actual news, you decided to go to the fabrications invented on right wing blog sites?

Nice...........keep trolling until someone agrees with you and tout that as "proof".

Yanno................maybe I should start calling you Conserva-Doody, because you're obviously full of shit.

Who cares if this specific Story is true or not. There is no Question Obama Opposes any and all attempts to Control Abortion, He would support Late Term Sex Selection Abortions even.

what more do you need to know.

Got a link to an actual news site and not some right wing blog?

People said that Breitbart was "reliable" too, and look how that turned out.

Listen to the audio. Or keep deflecting.

Why did Obama vote against the second version of this law that specifically said it wasn't threatening Roe V. Wade as a whole?

You don't have an answer.

You don't have an answer.

Actually, based on the way the GOP has edited words that Obama has said, unless you can provide a reliable link, I'm not gonna believe you, because not only has Mittens edited his words, but others have as well.

Try again Constant Douche.

I would have voted against it. For the reasons Obama gave. If you don't know what those reasons were, I suggest you listen to your audio, with your monitor turned off.

Where's the media on this?! It's ridiculous! Some Senate candidate in MO. says some off the wall stuff about a female body's reaction to rape and they immediately pin it on Romney/Ryan.. but not a word is said about Obama's WAY extreme positions on abortion..

That is so sick, but nope.. Not a word about that. :eusa_boohoo:

They're silent because industrialized baby killing is pretty much a cornerstone of the progressive movement so there's no need to be outraged. And they sure as hell don't want the rest of us knowing how much they admire China's reproductive policies, so best to simply keep quiet.
