President Obama pulled into a tie with Mitt Romney in 12 swing states that will play a key role in determining the 2012 election, according to the latest Purple Poll.

Obama and Romney tied at 45 percent, whereas a head-to-head matchup last month had the president trailing 43 percent to 46 percent. Obama leads Newt Gingrich 46 percent to 44 percent in the same poll.

The only one that pulls close or above Obama within important states is Mitt.

    He wins floirda by 4
    He is close in Virgina
    He is close in Ohio
    He is close in Mich
    He is close in Pa

No one comes close---Cain is 9 points down in florida and more then that in Mich, Pa, Ohio. He also loses Az and Misr. Newt isn't hugely better.

I don't see how we could win this election without Mitt. Obama won in 2008 by 363 elv and could increase that to 380 if we run Bachmann or Cain.

    Obama isn't losing in 2012.

The tide has turned. Voters in Ohio, Florida, and Wisconsin have gotten a taste of Republican extremism, and they don't like it.
