Obama politicizes "SANDY" by "cutting red tape" he's against his own AGENDA???

Oh shut up. We have a very real national emergency in progress. 50 or 60 million Americans are going to be affected by this disaster. And all you can do is try to make some kind of insane political point on it. Get a life, learn a bit about what really matters in life.
But, but her MessiahRushie told her it's all media hype! He said this is the weakest hurricane he's ever seen.

As far as hurricane's go, Sandy is quite weak. It's only a Cat 1 after all and will continue to weaken as it makes its way over land up the coast.

"Anything they need, we will be there," Obama said. "And we are going to cut through red tape.
We are not going to get bogged down with a lot of rules.
We want to make sure that we are anticipating and leaning forward."

So Obama ADMITS that red tape a lot of rules GET IN THE WAY??? IS he admitting that with the growing rules and regulations that the Obama administration has done that IMPEDES PROGRESS???

Federal regulations increased 7.4% during Obama’s first three years
To put this in perspective, the growth rate in the first George W. Bush term — when he enjoyed one-party control of Washington for a couple of years as well — was 4.4%.
That was bad enough; by 2008, the annual compliance cost to the economy was $1.7 trillion, according to a 2010 Small Business Administration study.
If compliance costs increase at the same ratio as regulations, the Obama administration added nearly $126 billion in compliance costs in three years.

ARE THESE the "RED TAPE" Obama wants to be CUT????

First off, using "the storm" to make a political point just shows how much of an idiot you are. Secondly, Obama has implemented fewer regulations than GW did at this point in his presidency. This is all a part of the lies used by the right to try to tear down the president. The Republican Party has become a disgrace. That is why I left it.

Winds have just increased from 75mph to 90mph.

The wind is not even half the story when a hurricane comes ashore, the storm surge is much like a tidal wave that leaves nothing standing.

Where were you when this was "politicized"

That is the same Obama who, in 2005, called for a government that was “more serious, more somber” in dealing with both crises like hurricanes and what he called “systemic problems.” Obama also criticized Bush for not exhibiting a “greater sense of empathy” toward the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Obama’s “Katrina Moment?”

Yeah....and Obama is exercising the concern, empathy and willingness to do everything he can to help people in a dire situation.

So....what? you're critiquing him for NOT doing what he critiqued Bush on?

I love it....even Chris Christie is praising Obama for being on top of this....but the depths of your hatred is so deep that you have to find fault....for doing a good job.

You're insane.

Bush Had Generated More Regulations At This Point In His Presidency Than Obama | ThinkProgress

Here is a link to a more objective review of this issue. Who has the better regulatory record — Obama or Bush? - The Washington Post

"CASS Sunstein"????
The same..
"Sunstein advocates that the Government’s stealth infiltration should be accomplished by sending covert agents into “chat rooms, online social networks, or even real-space groups.” He also proposes that the Government make secret payments to so-called “independent” credible voices to bolster the Government’s messaging (on the ground that those who don’t believe government sources will be more inclined to listen to those who appear independent while secretly acting on behalf of the Government).
Obama confidant’s spine-chilling proposal - Salon.com

BUT read the last paragraph of YOUR sourcing!!!

The Pinocchio Test

Sunstein correctly noted that the Obama administration has reduced overall regulations compared to the last years of the Bush era, but he didn’t mention that more rules of the “significant” variety have taken effect since then.

The regulatory chief would have you believe that Obama’s executive orders and a series of incredibly smart new regulations have produced staggering results in terms of estimated net benefits. He may be right, but he cherry-picked data that cast previous presidents in a pretty negative light.

Sunstein said he never meant to disparage previous presidents, but he neglected to give credit where it was due.
Overall, Sunstein earns one Pinocchio for omitting important facts.
His comments don’t contain factual errors to the best of our knowledge, but he could have been more careful about making other presidents look bad while singing the praises of the Obama administration. He teeters on the edge of making the other administrations look like slouches — the big-picture data suggests they weren’t.

One Pinocchio

The President has already declared the affected areas disaster zones. He has directed all agencies that deal with this kind of emergency to have their personel and equipment in place. He is addressing the nation in about an hour.

The critizism of Bush was about primarily what occured after Katrina, not what occured before.

So the President declared the affected ares disaster zones? I was under the impression it was the Governors who do that. You had better hope for Obama's sake that things run perfectly in matters of disaster relief... I don't think people have forgotten the ridiculous attacks Bush got for causing Katrina.

Oh boy, talk about making a storm political.

KATRINA anyone?

you have to laugh

Remember Bush blew the levees! Bush let the buses sit in the water! Bush flew over (of course knowing the traffic jam decided not to land.. but NO one remembers that!!)...
Oh yea and Bush hated Blacks!

If republicans has their way, we would cut more from education or something to pay for disaster relief, fuckin nazis
