    Now that Democrats are frolicking in their Majority and with Obama as the Big Kahuna, Head Honcho, Czar of czars, Blessed Messiah :)rolleyes:) you have to wonder if they can take responsibility for this Poll....(I think not)...:eusa_angel:

    PRINCETON, NJ -- Americans are markedly cynical about the amount of waste in federal spending, more so than at several other times in recent history. On average, Americans believe 50 cents of every tax dollar that goes to the government in Washington, D.C., today are wasted. That's an increase from 46 cents per dollar in 2001.

    Demobombacare, It just...couldn't hurt....:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

    Your link does not work. Also, I'd love to see a date of that link. Plus, this is what Americans BELIEVE, not any actual truth with a basis of fact.

    I can see that thanks, however, his original posting of the link was also screwed up, not just gallup in general. Which is why I said it. Hopefully Gallup will be back up soon.

    In 2007: 30% of the American people still believed Saddam Hussein had WMDs in Iraq. Despite GWB saying otherwise.

    21% of Americans in a poll said they believe the Sun revolves around the Earth.

    Only 76% of Americans could name the country we gained our independence from.

    Just because the American people say it or believe it, doesn't make them always right.

    Thank you.

    Looking at the link, it's obvious that it's been steadily climbing since 1986. So the OP's comments about "Obamacare" and such are misleading. If this had been a huge spike from say 2003, I would say oh wow but this is no surprise. More and more people losing faith in their Government is not a shocking thing by any means.
