Obama and Hillary cut a deal so she could be Sec. State

I have no proof of this. I just always thought she dropped out of the race in exchange for a cabinet position. Anyone else agree?

I know Bill was happy she was appointed - lots of travel for her.

I think she dropped out of the race because she was beaten.

And then she was appointed to a big cabinet position because she received 49% of the vote.

I have never understood why he did not put her in charge of health care, more than anyone else she is the expert in this field, it blew my mind to see this appointment. But then again this is the Obama administration, we have a tax cheat as head of the treasury, an incompetent homeland security chief, who thinks that returning vets and people with Jesus stickers on their cars are the enemy and a general prosecutor who will prosecute the previous administration for waterboarding terrorists on his staff. He has shot himself in the foot on all of these appointments and it's going to get worse.
