Requiring the mentally unstable people to be added to the NCIC database doesn't have to be tied to universal healthcare or any kind of healthcare. It should be done strictly to identify those who can legally purchase a firearm.

Yes, but everyone knows the lone gunman and the serial killer are always "that quiet guy next door who kept to himself mostly"....
So the problem is, how do you identify the nutjobs if you don't have early intervention in say, grade school with easy-access counselling of the highest caliber?

I was referring to individuals that have a history of mental instability. Those that have been diagnosed with any form of mental defectiveness.

Please don't mistake Republicans reaction to this tragedy to that of a liberal. You will be waiting a long time before you see any Republican blame the little girl.
