    Newt 41, Romney 17, Cain 13.

The RCP averages now has Newt ahead of the pack in Iowa (by 8.2) South Carolina (by 8.6) and Flordia (by 2.4, but two of those polls are old data before Cain's campaign hit the skids.) Romney only leads in New Hampshire, and Newt is closing the gap, there, too.

If Herman Cain drops out this week (as I suspect he will), that's just more "not Romney" support for Newt to pick up.

So the GOP is shifting away from the Obama clone and towards the warmongering neocon? If this continues, I'm going to have to vote third party again.
