The State Department’s entire senior management team just resigned

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson’s job running the State Department just got considerably more difficult. The entire senior level of management officials resigned Wednesday, part of an ongoing mass exodus of senior foreign service officers who don’t want to stick around for the Trump era.

What a brutal turn of events! What oh what will he ever do now? well looks like it's over for the Trump administration, unless Trump and Tillerson are willing to fill the department with their own hand picked staffers Trump may as well leave office now.

Omg less people to Sabato get the new policy......is there anyway to see this but a win?

Sarcasm aside, I am sure that Putin could suggest some of his folks to fill in the gap at State.

:mm:

Thank God - these are the same people who were partly responsible for such historic failures like Benghazi, 'losing' an ass-load of money, helped the US get dragged into war in Libya and Syria, Obama's f*ed up Syrian 'Red Line', arming Al Qaeda and ISIS through Libya, negotiated Barry's 'deal' with Iran, and helping cover-up Hillary's e-mail scandal!

:fu: F* Em'! Now we can get some competent, trustworthy people in the State Department...like maybe someone who actually knows what the word 'reset' in Russian is! :p

BS. They were all Obama appointee positions who automatically turn in resignations during transitions.

Take a wild guess what a "resignation" often means?

read the fucking article, dimwit (or find a grown up to read it to you) Most of these resignations were from people who served under BOTH repub and dem. administration.

This is not true.

Further from the article:

............By itself, the sudden departure of the State Department’s entire senior management team is disruptive enough. But in the context of a president who railed against the U.S. foreign policy establishment during his campaign and secretary of state with no government experience, the vacancies are much more concerning.............

"They are presidential appointees who submit resignations during every transition. Their resignations were accepted. We wrote about it y'day."

Assuming Trump gives Putin the green light in Europe and Bibi the green like in Judea Samaria (and he already did) this helps him.

The same State Department who was more concerned about climate change than terrorism. The same State Department who was headed by a man whose biggest disappointment was not putting enough LGBT Ambassadors in the field.

Tillerson is probably doing cartwheels in his office right now.

Perhaps......but hurts our country.....So, the question remains, are right wingers more concerned about Trump's thin-skin.....or the country's welfare?
