NAU, Amero and Public Opinion

Many say that the NAU and the Amero will be coming very soon to North America. I have 2 questions, how many Americans think that such moves will actually improve the curent financial situation that the US is in and secondly dose it make any real difference to the average Joe to change your currency or Nations status in the long term.
