I may not respect the tea party or what they stand for, but I wouldn't go as far as calling them the new reich. You could argue that it is the rise of the new right(wing) as Matthews stated of you wanted to, though.

i'm sure that most of the germans who joined the nazi party in the 1930's were relatively decent people who were caught up in "the movement"

a sufficent number of decent but not very bright people caught up in "the movement" is all it takes for REALLY BAD people to establish a totalitarian government

Obviously that doesn't make any sense since most Tea Partiers i know are against big Government control of one's life. The Nazis were actually loyal Socialists. Thanks to our Liberal Teacher Union controlled Public School System,most people are just way too dumbed-down to understand this. Adolf Hitler actually considered himself to be a loyal Socialist right up till the end.

The current gang running our country are also Socialists/Progressives. So you do the math on that one. All Socialists/Progressives truly believe in absolute Government domination of one's life. I don't know any Tea Partiers who support that. So i'll just conclude that the OP is a sad product of our dumbed-down public school system. These people make up most of NBC's audience. So i understand their confusion and delusions. It is pretty good entertainment though.

This current gang in the White House resemble the Nazis in my opinion. All Tea Partiers & Anti-Socialists support less Government control of your life. Look at this administration's policies so far. These policies do resemble the rise of the Nazis in Germany. They have seized control of many private businesses and have passed laws that would put citizens in prison for not having health insurance. These seem like Nazi/Socialist policies to me. Tea Partiers and Anti-Socialists believe in individual freedom & liberty. This Administration clearly does not support this. Just remember,the Nazis were Socialists. This is just fact.
