MSNBC skips out on airing post- Democratic debate analysis

After airing an hour of coverage following the last Saturday night Democratic presidential debate on November 14, MSNBC skipped out on airing any post-debate analysis after Saturday’s third Democratic debate on ABC and instead played yet another episode of its weekend jail series Lockup. Following on short news breaks at the top of the 10:00 p.m. Eastern hour and at the bottom of the hour at 10:30 p.m. Eastern by newsreader Shannon Mulaire, the network returned to an episode of Lockup Sacramento, CA: Extended Stay.


When that concluded at 11:00 p.m. Eastern, there as no news break from Mulaire or anyone at MSNBC but instead immediately went to an episode of Lockup Charleston, SC: Extended Stay. At the 11:32 p.m. Eastern mark, newsreader Todd Piro had a 33-second news break summarizing the debate’s proceedings.
