It was the punt return by Atlanta out to the 28 yard line - with about 25 seconds left and 2 timeouts.

The Seahawks should have squibbed the kick and pinned the Falcons down around their 10 yard line.

And then mugged the Falcons wide recievers with penatlies and forced them to run out the clock.

All they had to do after the punt return was 2 completions.

And that FG would have been good from 58 yards.

Bad strategy on the part of Carroll.

I knew 31 seconds was too much time with a QB like Matt Ryan and their recievers and TE and 2 timeouts. Hawks can't presure the passer - use a prevent defense in final 31 seconds (only prevents you from winning.)

Lets the 29th ranked running offense run wild on them.

Are asleep in the first quarter.

Oh yes - The Beast fumbled the ball at the goal line - an ongoing issue with him..

could have been wearing goats horns but not for a lucky bounce into an OL.

What if: the Hawks had played the Niners in SF.

In all honesty - I think the Niners win..................................
