Inside information on the New Jersey murders

A close friend of Hossam Armanious, the Coptic Christian who was brutally murdered in New Jersey along with his family, is the source of this information, which comes to you exclusively from Jihad Watch:

The Armanious family had inspired several Muslims to convert to Christianity — or thought they had. These converts were actually practicing taqiyya, or religious deception, pretending to be friends of these Christians in order to strengthen themselves against them, as in Qur'an 3:28: "Let believers not make friends with infidels in preference to the faithful -- he that does this has nothing to hope for from Allah -- except in self-defense."

It was these "converts" who knocked on the door of the Armanious home. Of course, the family, not suspecting the deception, was happy to see the "converted" men and willingly let them in to their home. That's why there was no sign of forced entry. Then the "converted" Muslims did their grisly work.

Many Copts are regarding the murders as a warning to the Coptic community as a whole, related to the increasing strife between Copts and Muslims in Egypt and the Copts' energetic efforts in America to get the truth out about the differences between Middle Eastern Christians and Muslims -- differences that the Islamic lobby, with its disingenuous talk of "Arab Americans," routinely glosses over and hopes you don't notice. The Copts, to their immense credit, have been particularly outspoken among Middle Eastern Christians about Muslim oppression. And yes, many are active on Pal Talk debating Muslims.

The nature of the warning? The murders send a signal from the Muslims to the Copts: we are going to behave here the same way we behaved in Egypt, and the First Amendment and American law enforcement will not protect you. Don't expect America to keep you safe from us. The oppression and harassment you thought you had left behind in Egypt has now come to you.

This means, if Armanious's friend is correct, that this is indeed America's Theo van Gogh murder: indication that all Muslims in the nation do not, as we are supposed to believe, unanimously accept the parameters of American pluralism. That at least some are willing to enforce Sharia penalties right here, right now.

But there are so many nominees for the Walter Duranty prize this time that most Americans have no clue of what's going on. Duranty, of course, was the New York Times reporter who knowingly covered up information about the genocidal famine Stalin caused and fueled in Ukraine, and won a Pulitzer Prize for his efforts. The Pinch Sulzberger Times of these dark days should dedicate the whole paper to Duranty's honor, and put his picture on the front page right next to "All the News That's Fit to Print."

very disturbing... a good high school classmate of mine was a coptic christian whose family had fled egypt and come to america... i hope the gov't gets involved and stops these jihadists.

on another note; its funny how prison reform may end up turning on the problem of jihadist recruiting in prisons... when you abandon common criminals and leave them to madmen like these monsters, bad things happen.

I hope they find and prosecute these people quickly so we can show that our society will in no way accept their type of religious bigotry in our midst. If you are unwilling to be a part of our pluralistic society then do not come here and attempt to be part of our society at all.

This whole story has been very disturbing. I am not exactly sure how I am going to express what im thinking right now though. This is like the purest example of disloyalty to people you claimed to be friends. its the ultimate betrayal and its sickening that these people think that God somehow justifies them in doing everything He has ever taught against in almost every religion. It disgusts me how they try to justify their evil deeds through faith in God when their actions betray such faith. If they had faith in God they would not fear the preaching of others because the truth overcomes falsehoods. The fact that they are afraid to be challenged shows the extend of their fear and lack of faith.

They need to be very careful. if these kind of activities continue to grow the people arent going to take it any longer. These people dont seem to understand that we have been holding back. if we wanted to we could anihilate them from the face of the earth. Yet despite how merciful we have been to them they do crap like this. I hope some more normal muslims start speaking out against these extremists or when the extremists push it too far the moderate voices may be annihalated with the extremists. I hope that never has to happen though. I really do. But silence against the crimes of the extreme elements makes them just as guilty as those who commit the crimes.

I hope we never have to come to that.

Yes, people who believe the ends justify the means sicken me in their blatant use of terrorist tactics no matter what side they declare themselves on :p. What these Muslim's have done is horrible, resorting to force to try and "challenge" or resolve a conflict that could have been resolved with words. Religion being evidence to justify killings is horrible. I wish the best for the remainer of the family and the coptic community.
