[Monterey, CA] Two officers shot, two gunmen dead

Sand City, CA. Two officers were shot in Sand City outside the Target shopping center.It appears there were two gunmen. Shots were fired during a confrontation. Four people were shot, including two police officers and the two suspected gunmen.The victims were immediately sent to a nearby hospital.According to Monterey District Attorney Dean Flippo, the two suspected gunmen are dead.The two police officers have non-life threatening injuries and are expected to make a full recovery. The Target store is now closed.
