Not allowed to pray near men, segregation on public transport, men abusing women who try to have a little independence, girls expected to have ten babies in order to forward the male version of the faith.

Bloody hell, protest, shout from the rooftops, ban them from America, sanctions, bomb them and so on.

Oh, hang on, it's Jews, just keep quiet and hope the story goes away.

At least the odd government minister is trying to stop the abuse.

(Reuters) - Back-of-the bus seating for women on any public transport in Israel will soon be outlawed, the justice minister said on Thursday, pledging sweeping legislation to stop Jewish zealots trying to enforce gender segregation in many spheres of life.

"Discrimination against women in public places, in public services, cannot be allowed," the minister, Tzipi Livni, told Army Radio.

Well, one woman is but she'll probably be told to go home and have ten kids.
