1. I believe in a minimum wage AND I believe in paid leave because I have dealt with both. My wife got 6 UNPAID weeks off after having our last child and it was an emergency c section....complete BS.
2. This harms the GOP in Michigan not helps them.

Who did your wife’s work while she was gone? Did they hire a temp or did her coworkers have to do her work? Did they get more pay?

They already had too many workers as it was,just a little lovely trick they use so they don't have to consider people full time workers so they don't have to pay them benefits etc....glad that place went out of business...fortunately she is in college now will be done with her diploma in 9 months and will continue going while working for her associates in medical assisting so hopefully a decent place will hire her and she will get benefits ALL workers deserve.
