Even though they didn't find enough evidence to charge the agent, Obama's DOJ spent two years trying to make a case against him. I am willing to bet that had the agents name been John Smith instead of Jesus Mesa, there would have been allegations by the DOJ of racism and they would have charged him with a hate crime. The agent shot a known drug dealer and human trafficker after the teen and his friends threw rocks at the agent. Mexico is threatening to launch an international investigation and the family of the Mexican teen is suing the agent. Just what happens in an international investigation? Do they think they can come and get the guy and try him for this? And will Obama help them if they proceed with that? I am betting that their standards of proof aren't as fair as ours.

Last year a Texas judge dismissed a wrongful death lawsuit against the U.S. government but allowed a lawsuit against the agent to proceed. The Obama Department of Justice (DOJ) has spent the last two years conducting a comprehensive and thorough investigation into the shooting in an effort to file federal criminal charges against the Border Patrol agent.
