Walkerton pizzeria once at center of national controversy has now closed

“Memories Pizza, the shop that became embroiled in the national debate over religious and civil rights and touched off a national media firestorm in 2015, has closed.”

A decent customer would respect the business owner’s religious rights and just choose another business, but the left wing bigots will try to destroy people instead of compromising.

Is that the one that the RWNJs lied about having some sort of kiddie porn thing in the basement they didn't even have?

A decent customer would respect the business owner’s civil rights and just choose another business, but the left wing liars will try to destroy people instead of being truthful and honest.

OP -- Fixed it for you.

All they have to do is open a Go Fund Me page.

It worked for the phony christian bakers.

They'll never have to work again and its a lot faster than that 10% tithing stuff.

They already did, got in excess of $800k.

As it says in the article, unnamed source believes they just want to retire.

If they had great pizza, they never would have closed.

Don't know much about running a small business do you? A small town of less than 2500 people... Running a restaurant/pizza parlor with a less than 10% profit margin doesn't leave a whole lot to write home about... Do some research before you run your pie hole regarding the quality of the product...

Then they were poor planners, should never have opened the place to begin with? Cool!

I'm sure that $800k from GFM didn't hurt any either.

P.S.: I'm from a town that had less thank 2k when I was growing up. They have quadruped in size over the past few decades. The same pizza place was open all along.

Your attempted insult holds no water, further you have NO IDEA what kind of profit margin they had or how they were doing.

Fortunately, I'm bored and used the time to respond to your irrational points.

Liberals accomplished once again what they always do best, like fire ants they gang up on anyone different from them and try to destroy their opposition. Kinda like a virus.

You should really do some research on the profitability of small diners/pizza Parlors without a liquor license, instead of making asinine responses...

Didn’t have a liquor license. And the point you’re trying to make it actually has nothing to do with the subject at hand.

Ah, yes, the left wing are trying to destroy people's lives, while the right want people to be second class citizens in their own country because of how they interpret the Bible... right.

At least you grabbed on to the point... The comment you made regarding the quality of their product wild speculation at best... Making noise just to make yourself feel like the bwoc is juvenile...

Why was that gay coffe shop owner allow to kick Christians out of his store for doing nothing more than being Christian? Why isn't his store closed down and him sued out of existence?

Now they can just open their very successful church and exclude as many of God's children as they see fit.

I live in a town of 6,000 and we have 3 pizza parlours, two of whom don’t have a liquor license. They’re all thriving.

Sounds like the Memoried owners took the $800k and retired.

My parents owned a restaurant in a village of 800. Admittedly they were the only restaurant in town, but if my mother hadn’t been such a good cook, every table wouldn’t have been filled at mealtimes.

When I came home from school at lunch, I had to eat my lunch in the kitchen because every table and counter seat out front was filled with paying customers.

Did you consume a lot of freedom fries?

In all seriousness back in the day, I would ride my motorcycle home occasionally during high school. Now it is total lock down at all times from what I understand. The douchebags in high school today have no idea what freedom is and are taught to be douchebags.
