Running a restaurant/pizza parlor with a less than 10% profit margin doesn't leave a whole lot to write home about... P.S.: I'm from a town that had less thank 2k when I was growing up. They have quadruped in size over the past few decades. The same pizza place was open all along.

I live in a town of 6,000 and we have 3 pizza parlours, two of whom don’t have a liquor license. They’re all thriving.

Sounds like the Memoried owners took the $800k and retired.

My parents owned a restaurant in a village of 800. Admittedly they were the only restaurant in town, but if my mother hadn’t been such a good cook, every table wouldn’t have been filled at mealtimes.

When I came home from school at lunch, I had to eat my lunch in the kitchen because every table and counter seat out front was filled with paying customers.
