Media Obsessed With Impeachment After Release of Mueller Report

Media Obsessed With Impeachment After Release of Mueller Report
April 19, 2019 ~ By Leah Barkoukis
The Department of Justice on Thursday released the redacted findings of special counsel Robert Mueller’s report, which stated very clearly that there was no collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government. No charges were recommended against the president but you wouldn’t have known it by the way commentators on cable and broadcast news were talking... According to a Media Research analysis, the word impeachment was mentioned 309 times during coverage of the Mueller report on CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, and NBC. And worse, this was only during a 24 hour period.... “In total, the word came up 309 times, with the vast majority (286) coming from cable networks CNN (148) and MSNBC (138),” the report states. While anchors and talking heads jumped on the impeachment bandwagon, MRC found that congressional Democrats were more restrained than the programs on which they appeared.
The closest any member of that party came to actually endorsing the idea on Thursday was when House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler was asked about the option during a press conference: “That’s one possibility. There are others.” Yet journalists were not discouraged by the Democrats’ reticence to discuss removing the President from office. Given the media’s obsession with impeachment — even after Mueller found no collusion and declined to prosecute on obstruction — one has to wonder whether they’re even reading the same report as the rest of us.

~~~~~~
Collusion, collusion, collusion. Russia, Russia, Russia. Mueller, Mueller, Mueller. Impeachment, impeachment, impeachment. Anything to try to get the Dem-Wit base to tune in.
Nothing new with Progressive Marxist Socialist Democrat/DSA leftists They have switched from collusion to obstruction and will continue hounding president Trump well into his second term. They are totally off the rails, and are going to have a hard time running on their record of obstruction and undermining a duly-elected president. It is telling that a DSA socialist is currently leading the pack of hopefuls. Touchy-feely Biden is entering the fray next week. Makes me want to go out and vote for Trump. Again.
Nothing better illustrates the wide gulf between Americans than this entire Russian collusion fiasco and subsequent investigation. Those like me see it as a political hit job that will not end, no matter what the facts. Others take it very seriously and hope with all their hearts that the President is guilty of treason. Unfortunately this has set a precedent that does not bode well for the country's future. Then House Oversight and Reform Committee Chairman Elijah Cummings said on MSNBC this morning that it "may very well come to [impeachment] very soon."
The Leftist loons will have something to really shout about when the first of the Russian hoax perpetrators are indicted.
"After the release of the Mueller report"? The media has been so obsessed with overturning the results of the election that they have become the agents of foreign propaganda and guilty of the same thing they that they accused the President of doing.
Your link from Townhall gives no indication that they are "obsessed" with impeachment. If a couple prominent Dems want to impeach should the media be forbidden to write the story? No one has ever become smarter reading Townhall garbage btw. Most Democrats are opposed to impeachment.
