Neutral Enso, and a May that is warmer than any month prior to 1997.

If so why are there data points significantly larger than May 2017.

In the 2015 and 2016 window as an example.

Also the 1998 and 1999 window?

Thanks in advance for your reply?
The significance is that those periods were all El Nino's. We are in a neutral ENSO at present. Yet last month was very warm.

................as if perception of the temperature has no bearing on anything. Come talk to New Yorkers sitting here freezing on June 5th..........couldn't give a rats ass about 1 ten thousandth degree ( or whatever it is )!!

So....I want to know.........how much warmer? As in......exactly how much temperature increase? ( as usual.........never compared to anything........just says 'warmer". This is typical semantic-play by alarmists. And look closely........on the graph, there is clearly a history of upward spikes followed by sharp decreases. In other words, no identifiable pattern to hang your hat on. By October............might be up? Might be down? Not a person alive knows.
