Today, Maryland made it law that illegals will be granted in state tuition for college.
Maryland with a 1.6 billion dollar deficit that 1.3 billion can be traced to support, housing, medical, prison etc... for illegals has been laying off teachers, police and other legal citizens to cover the shortage.
Money from the road fund was spent in other places leaving that fund broke. To make up for this loss the illustrious leaders decided to put a gas tax on the table, thats right, when fuel is increasing every day and causing distress to many working citizens, instead of running the illegals out, they are discussing anywhere from 12.5 to .75 cent per gallon tax.
When is enough enough? When do the people learn and vote these liberal socialists out of office.
I strongly suggest that anyone living in Maryland near a border state, cross that state line to purchase their food, their drink and their fuel. Large purchases should be made in Delaware where there is no tax on purchases.
If you buy a new car buy it out of state, you will still have to pay the sales tax in maryland to register it, but you will be cutting out the revenue from the dealers sale, the taxes collected from the dealership profits and the taxes from any money made by the sales person.
We need to get business fighting too. The problem right now is that the business owner looks at a new tax on the public and thinks, its either the public, or it my business that will get hit.
In short, I am suggesting that people boycott the state of Maryland as much as possible. Do not mail order anything from the state, do not purchase items sold through the internet that originate in the state. If you are looking for a beach for vacation, Virginia Beach is one of the nicest beaches on the east coast. Hatteras if you want more seclusion. But, if possible, do not spend your time or money on Maryland beaches.
The only other thing I can suggest is if anyone is traveling on I-95 and plan to pass through Maryland, make sure you have enough fuel before you cross into maryland, make sure you stop and eat before crossing so you will not have to spend money here.
Im here for another 8 years until I can retire. I was born in this state, I left for a number of years to serve in the military, and I ended back here for work. I am at a point that I am unable to just walk away right now. You can be sure however that the day after I retire I will drive out of this hell hole for the last time. I wont return.
