Mandatory evac for parts of Oroville b/c of dam situation

When did this happen? Last night, they were talking about opening the emergency spillways to relieve the pressure on the main spills?

Were they not able to clear the debris from the emergency overflow lines?

Oh wow! I hope people take the order seriously. And at noon they stated everything was ok. Unbelievable.

Holy smokes! They are expecting the auxiliary spillway to collapse of the infrastructure 30 ft, and said 30 ft depth of the entire lake could drain through it....

That would be a MASSIVE flood, don't ya think? 30 ft of the whole lake??

Yes, they are now talking about an uncontrolled release. The damn is rated to 300k fps release and the levies are rated at 250k fps. An uncontrolled release may overwhelm the levy system.

Looks like the live feed stopped. They did say they were going to be forced back to Sacramento due to fading light.
