The commies are taking over folks. How can this fascist judge get away with putting a 69 year old rich guy in a maximum security prison? Manafort has not been convicted of a crime, he is simply being squeezed by Mueller and Andrew Weissman.

We n ow live iun a country where a judge can throw you in j ail, without a single conviction to punish you for.

And people are pretty much ignoring it all crying about some illegal bastards caught sneaking into our country.

Fuck them, Manafort is innocent!.

Manafort in 'solitary confinement' to avoid attack by someone intent on 'street cred,' Trump ex-lawyer says

Dowd, who resigned in March as Trump's lead outside counsel on the ongoing Russia probe, characterized Jackson's punishment as unduly "harsh" and implied that Jackson, who was nominated to her post by President Barack Obama in 2010, may have been politically motivated.

"Paul’s counsel are filing an expedited appeal,' Dowd told Fox News. "This is harsh pretrial punishment and an outrageous violation of Paul’s civil liberties at the hands of an Obama appointee."

Reached for comment on Dowd's statements, Manafort spokesman Jason Maloni told Fox News, "I don't have anything to add."

Manafort's trial before Jackson in Washington, D.C., is expected to begin in September. He has an additional federal case pending in Virginia, and analysts say the bail revocation may complicate his ability to coordinate with his attorneys on both cases.

so rich guys shouldn't be held accountable?

interesting point and by interesting i mean ridiculous

btw, we've always lived in a country where a judge can throw you in jail without a conviction

it's called bail revocation and it happens every day, even to rich guys!

you should get out more- maybe read a book or something

Bail revocation is used in cases of flight risk or heinous criminal records, none of which applies to Manafort, you fucking Nazi.

He was witness tampering. That's why his ass got sent to jail.

And bail can be revoked for a number of reasons. Not only flight risk and violent crimes.

Bail is a privilege.

Bullshit, Manafort was never convicted of witness tampering and those that have seen the transcripts of these calls say there was no witness tampering involved at all period.

Andrew Weisssman the prosecutor that Mueller is sicing on Manafort like a rabid dog has a long history of corruption, witholding evidence and other hijioonks. He is a Nazi.

Mueller is the fool who mishandled Whitey Bulger as the crook murdered 16 innocent people.

That is your Mueller team; a bunch of Trump hating Nazis.

The solitary confinement is supposedly for his protection and is based on the warden's decision, per your link. Also per the link, Manafort is supposed to be in Northern Neck Regional Jail, which doesn't sound like a "maximum security prison" to me. ;)

I don't know whether the revocation of bail was a good decision, but when you describe the situation with hyperbole that seems to contradict your own link, it doesn't add credibility to your position.

Now that congress has shown all these investigations fruit of the poisonous tree... Manafort is about to be released, as his attorneys are filing a writ of Habis Corpus citing bias in the investigation. The Mueller witch hunt is exploding into fragments of garbage..

If sources are correct, Wiesman is one of the people cited in the IG report as having rabid bias.

I LOVE how the Trumpsters are going all out to defend yet another criminal.

Judges can't thrown wealthy men like Pauly boy in jail for no reason. Maybe if Pauly was some trailer trash, then yes we can day judges can what they want.

Wealthy white men like Paul rarely get sent to jail. So the fact a judge has revoked his bail means he did some serious shit.

But do continue to support Trump and his criminal minions.

you forgot witness tampering, you witless putz

unfortunately for paulieboi the judge didn't

lol. Manafort is rich and could have easily stayed on house arrest yet he tampered with witnesses to try and help himself. If that doesn't scream desperation and guilt I don't know what else could.

When out on bail, just getting indicted for a new charge is enough to revoke bail. A conviction is not needed.

Exactly! Many of these Trumpsters fail to learn how the law works. But I'm not surprised. Their cult leader has total disregard for the law as well.
