I'm going to go out on a limb and say this story is fake.

It's a blog by the newspaper's cartoonist, it's almost certainly just a joke.

Of course it is fake.

Now....if we only had two dozen dishonest nationally syndicated talk radio hosts, an in-house 24 hour cable news channel and a reliably disingenuous group of camera-loving nutjobs in. DC.....we could repeat the lie a few thousand times over the next week.

Then....months.......even years from now, we could just toss it into our rants about our opponents with total disregard for the fact that it is total bullshit.
