Such sad news. Lowell Weicker co-wrote the Americas with Disabilities Act, he was an ally to Major Owens. He was such a liberal Republican that William F Buckley endorsed Joe Lieberman to defeat him. Rest easy, Senator, and thank you.

Joe Lieberman is 81, besides the occasional interview with right wing media, he's no longer relevant
 
i've lived in CT all my life & can tell you weiker was mediocre (as gov ) at best.

he once said that, ' CT is a peanut state with peanut problems ' & also was in favor of & passed the state income tax that made so many people angry.
