State House Clerk Adam Crumbliss on Thursday told The Associated Press that he had authorized the $1,000 camera after Republican lawmakers expressed concerns about vandalism. Limbaugh’s statue is the only one in the Rotunda with 24-hour security.

Obviously both sides have intolerant people. The fact that you, like many conservatives on this forum, generalize "the left" like they're one perfectly unified group shows belief in a logical fallacy (fallacy of generalization).

The basic liberal idea is that all people should be treated equally and be allowed to practice their own beliefs as long as they harm no nothing - and that people should not impose their beliefs upon others.

Generally when someone "on the left" is intolerant, it's intolerance of people who are intolerant! I'm sure some righters picture Greenpeace firebombing a Hummer dealership or drag queens beating up people in a church....
