Was watching a show the other day. In which they said While Americans as citizens give more to charity than any other people on earth, while the US government per capita is kind of stingy.

Well, that is not really true. It is true if you only count the money we call foreign aid, that we do not give as much as many nations do per Capita, or as a % of GDP. However those numbers fail to take into account the US Military. Which is always first in when disaster strikes, and which is relied on in situations like Libya, Afghanistan, and the Balkans, To take the lions share of the Burden. We also Fund over half the UN budget.

As Liberals love to point out. We spend more than every other Nation on Earth Combined on our Military. It is only fair that the Acts of Generosity and help our Military Carries out. Be counted when people point their figures and say the US government does not give enough in aid.
