A senior communications aide to Attorney General Eric Holder seemingly called House oversight committee chairman Darrell Issa's staff by accident and asked for their help spinning new revelations about the IRS scandal, Issa said in a September 8 letter to Holder. The aide, Brian Fallon, is a former senior aide to Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and a well-known personality on Capitol Hill. The letter describes Fallon as “audibly shaken” when he realizes his request to leak documents to help get ahead of news stories about them was mistakenly made to the very office he was seeking to undermine. This isn't a unique stand alone event or story. This is a thread in a broader tapestry.
What do we know? The IRS targeted largely Conservative , Tea Party type groups.
Elijah Cummings brought, largely, the entire government investigative agencies down onto the shoulders of the founder of one of these, Catherine Englebrecht, "True The Vote"
The IRS had a Secret Research Program ongoing on the Tea Party types.
Lois Lerner has talked openly with DOJ while refusing to talk to Congress
Lois Lerner illegally sent 21 CD ROMS to the DOJ with 1.1 million pages of illegally transmitted taxpayor information on them
Lois Lerner's lawyer told Politico in June that she did so, not be accident or error, but at DOJ's request.
The company that runs Andrew Breitbarts websites has been informed of a new pending IRS audit. They were also audited in 2012
Now just suppose somebody at DOJ did suggest to Ms Lerner she should go after these Tea Party groups through usual IRS methods and ascertain exactly who the groups donors were. Remember Lavrenti Beria's, the former head of the Soviet KGB, remark "Show me the man and I'll show you the crime"
Now there's those legions of crashed IRS computer hard drives with all those missing, incriminatory e-mails.
There's also that missing IRS lawyer in Lerner's crew, who later went to work at DOJ then mysteriously vanished from sight.
To top it off, one of Breitbarts websites is working on a story that says DOJ initiated the TeaParty targeting and Lerner, being a loyal Democratic drone just did what she was asked to do. This likely goes all the way into the White House. Barack Obama has been very busy changing the spelling of 'America' to 'Amerika'
