Brett Kavanaugh, President Trump's nominee to replace Justice Anthony Kennedy on the Supreme Court, would have the second most conservative score (0.693) on the bench if confirmed, next to Justice Clarence Thomas (0.725), per a measure that scores judges on a liberal-conservative spectrum.

Excellent.

I'm pleased, especially on border & 2A issues. Though all the top 5, even the 25 are Constitutional originalists we certainly could have done worse than Kavanauch. I do believe that Amy Barrett is the runner up for the next seat which will leave me with an optimistic interlude of anticipations. :) Thanks President Trump !!! U delivered again... IMHO

O.K.

Who is selling the popcorn ? It will be fun to have some while we watch the left screech and sling poop.

I too believe she will be next up.

There is no doubt that confirmation was a huge factor. Worst case scenario is that the confirmation becomes a midterm election issue in for the Senators that are up. Kavanauch is very likely to get confirmed even with the few "Repubs" beotching" about it. A few Dem's will likely ensure their pansy asses are reelected by voting with the Repubes... lol. Hopefully this is all settled in Sept. or by the latest Oct. 1

I think Kavanaugh will be confirmed easily.

I expect that stare decisis will be heavily emphasized by Kavanaugh as he knows that his reluctance to overturn precedent will go a long way in ensuring his nomination. Who knows if Roe v Wade will even be accepted by the court in the first place... the L wing screechers are howling like Banshees in attempts to rile their base, IMHO.

R v. W is not, IMO, the reason Trump picked Kavanaugh. Trump hopes Kavanaugh does not believe a sitting president can be indicted.

See: Brett Kavanaugh Once Argued That a Sitting President Is Above the Law

"“I believe it vital that the President be able to focus on his never-ending tasks with as few distractions as possible. The country wants the President to be ‘one of us’ who bears the same responsibilities of citizenship that all share. But I believe that the President should be excused from some of the burdens of ordinary citizenship while serving in office,” argued Kavanaughin the law review article. He then asserted that “the indictment and trial of a sitting President, moreover, would cripple the federal government, rendering it unable to function with credibility in either the international or domestic arenas. Such an outcome would ill serve the public interest, especially in times of financial or national security crisis.”

Ordinary yes, but we are dealing with Democrat socialists and their child-like understanding of the world. In reality, there isn't anything they can do. Thanks Harry Reid!
