I think Kurds deserved their own state. I still can't get it why they didn't get their own country when the modern Middle Eastern borders were being formed. They seem to be the most sane and secular people in the whole Middle East. I can't understand why Obama wants to keep Iraq borders intact since that country formed out of completely incompatible parts. I hope Kurds will gain their independence from Iraq, Syria, Iran and Turkey.

Dunno about Biden but those who opposed the 2003 invasion--myself included--sure had the right idea. Of course there's no use whining about the past now. Today the solution may be separate Sunni and shiite states but a Kurdish state would incur too much opposition.

saddam was very bad. Getting rid of saddam was very important-----we did it wrong------the
main thrust should have been "WHERE in the WORLD IS SADDAM HUSSEIN" kinda like we did----"WHERE IN THE WORLD IS OSAMA BIN LADEN" ------in the 1940s we should have been

Turkey, Iraq and Syria will oppose. If they save their land, perhaps it should be considered since Iraq and Syria could/would do enough for the Kurds.
Iraq and Turkey oppose arming the Kurds against ISIS, but they are the ones with an success against them.
