A German investigative television show similar to 60 Minutes in the US has claimed the February 20th sniper killings in Ukraine were perpetrated by the US-backed Sovboda protesters, at least according to this interview with TRNN:

"The big news is all about the Ukraine.

"And it's about the events that happened in the shootings on February 20.

"Late last week, the German television program ARD Monitor, which is sort of their version of 60 Minutes here, had an investigative report of the shootings in Maidan, and what they found out is that contrary to what President Obama is saying, contrary to what the U.S. authorities are saying, that the shooting was done by the U.S.-backed Svoboda Party and the protesters themselves, the snipers and the bullets all came from the Hotel Ukrayina, which was the center of where the protests were going, and the snipers on the hotel were shooting not only at the demonstrators, but also were shooting at their own--at the police and the demonstrators to try to create chaos.

"They've spoken to the doctors, who said that all of the bullets and all of the wounded people came from the same set of guns.

"They've talked to reporters who were embedded with the demonstrators, the anti-Russian forces, and they all say yes.

"All the witnesses are in agreement: the shots came from the Hotel Ukrayina.

"The hotel was completely under the control of the protesters, and it was the government that did it.

Investigation Finds Former Ukraine President Not Responsible For Sniper Attack on Protestors

Conflicting accounts posit two sets of snipers, one in front of the demonstrators and another behind the crowd:

"Gunfire out of Hotel Ukraina

"According monitor, there are videos, which show demonstrants, how they were fired not only from the direction of government facilities but also from direction of the Hotel Ukraina, that was in the back of the demonstrants.

"According to an eyewitness, who was on that day near the hotel and also near government facilites, he confirmed the happenings. 'Somebody fired at us in our back, from the eigth or ninth floor of the Hotel Ukraina. They were surely professional's.'

"Many journalists resided there and the hotel was completely in the hands of opposition member's. In the morning of 20 th. Febr. the hotel let only poeple in the facility who had a key for a room."

"THE HAGUE, Netherlands – Ukraine has accepted the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court, opening the way for a possible investigation of the violent crackdown by former President Viktor Yanukovych's government on demonstrators.

"The court announced Thursday that Ukraine, which is not a member state, has accepted its jurisdiction from Nov. 21, 2013, to Feb. 22, saying attacks by Yanukovych's forces left more than 100 demonstrators dead in Kiev and other cities.

"Accepting the court's jurisdiction does not guarantee an investigation.

Considering how western media lied about Syria and Sarin last August, it will be informative to see what conclusions the ICC reaches in Ukraine.

Anyone think Obama's lying (again)?
