Sept. 23 (Bloomberg) -- Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, a Democrat, may choose an interim successor to the late Senator Edward Kennedy as early as today.

The Democrat-dominated state Senate voted 24-16 yesterday to let Patrick fill Kennedy’s seat until a special election is held Jan. 19. The House approved the measure 95-58 last week. Though further procedural action is required, the governor may be able to sign the measure today and make the appointment.

Why don't they just outlaw R's and save themselves any further trouble?

They need someone to blame so they keep them around...

which is it? are they scapegoats? or do they not get to touch anything?

also... i seem to recall an R being gov of Mass.

hmmmmmmmmmmm... now how can that be?
Um, didn't libs blame him for everything?

Or did they all hold him in high esteem?
