Kansas Bill Would Require Teachers To Misinform Students About Climate Change

Why Climate Deniers Have No Scientific Credibility - In One Pie Chart | DeSmogBlog

The problem is that while the earth is warming you think it's because of humans.... You believe so much in what you say that you drive a car, you sit there on the internet using the computer that was made with fossil fuels and shipped/packaged and so on by fossil fuels.

Even the greatest minds in the government funded climate change junk science department are stumped as to why global warming has almost stopped.

In biology class, public school students can't generally argue that dinosaurs and people ran around Earth at the same time, at least not without risking a big fat F. But that could soon change for kids in Oklahoma: On Tuesday, the Oklahoma Common Education committee is expected to consider a House bill that would forbid teachers from penalizing students who turn in papers attempting to debunk almost universally accepted scientific theories such as biological evolution and anthropogenic (human-driven) climate change.

Did you know back in the early 90's they were pushing that we were entering an ice age?

That was the bandwagon du jour.

Get with the times.

Hydrocarbons are our past, present, and future. You want to make a difference?

Plant a tree.

Plow under the hundreds or thousands of acres of ethanol-dedicated corn land and plant.... trees.

The earth is warming. The ice is melting. Seas will rise. There will be consequences...

How much ICE do you think are in ALL the glaciers in the world?
How do you know the earth is warming if 12% of earth's land mass has not been included?
How do you know the ice is melting when the Himalayas glaciers are growing?
NOW for the biggy.. how much would the seas rise if ALL the glaciers melted?

Since you seemingly IGNORE the facts here they are:

There are 343 quintillion gallons of water in all the oceans.
How many gallons of water does the ocean have

A cubic mile of water equals more than one trillion gallons.
Ice caps, Glaciers, & Permanent Snow water volume cubic miles: 5,773,000 or 5.7 quintillion gallons or 1.74% of all the WATER in the world!

Ground water water volume cubic miles 5,614,000 -- 1.7% of all water
Fresh 2,526,000 0.76%
Saline 3,088,000 0.94 %
Soil Moisture 3,959 0.001%
Ground Ice & Permafrost 71,970 0.022%
Lakes 42,320 0.013%
Fresh 21,830 0.007%
Saline 20,490 0.006%
Atmosphere 3,095 0.001%
Swamp Water 2,752 0.0008%
Rivers 509 2,120 0.0002% of all waters..
Biological Water 269 0.0001% of all waters are in plants, animals ..humans!!!

The addition of these 5.7 quintillion gallons of water by melting glaciers would add to the 343 quintillion gallons in the oceans

the equivalent of 1.74% of all the water in all the oceans!

This is the same as adding 10 gallons of water to a 648,000 gallons of an Olympic pool!

Oh.. one further thought... who says melting ice has to go into the oceans??
Melting ice doesn't care... could go into swamps, rivers, anywhere other then the oceans?
Hey biological water i.e. plants,etc.. with global warming more plants, more water.. yea that's the ticket grow more plants to hold the melting glaciers and we are then saving trees... !

What mindless progressives don't understand is that ice is expanded water, that it has air in it and that most of an iceberg is underwater already.... This mean that even if all the ice were melted like lets say during the Jurassic period, the world would in fact not be waterworld.

Get a glass of water, fill it with ice, then fill the cup close to the top... now wait until all the ice melts, watch as the glass does in fact not overflow...

Just think of the mistake all the fast food joints have made by filling a cut half way with ice, then filling it to the brim with soda!!! MY GAWD! How do we not have overflowing cups by the millions every single day!?!? Oh I know, because the world rarely works how Progressives want it to.

Corn at $7.00 and beans at $14.00.

We pay record prices for groceries, yet no one complains.

Farmers reap record profits, yet no one complains.

Land is dedicated to exported crops, yet no one complains.

Hyrcocarbons are not our enemy, agricarbons are... taking the land from nature for the sake of agri-profits.

Plow under that which has cast us asunder. We don't need grains, we need trees.

The theory of anthropogenic global warming is not an undisputed fact. Therefore, it's not "misinformation" to inform students that it's not a fact.

End of story, asshole.

Last week, the Kansas House Education Committee introduced a bill that mandates teachers question the scientific basis of global warming, becoming the latest state to take up one of American Legislative Exchange Council’s “model bills” aiming to misrepresent climate change in schools.

Kansas would join Texas, Louisiana, Tennessee and Oklahoma as the fifth state to cast climate change as a “controversial” topic. But climate change is only controversial in political and polluter circles, not the scientific community. 97 percent of climate scientists actively publishing in the field agree climate change is human-caused.

As National Center for Science Education executive director Eugenie C. Scott explained, “The only effects of enacting such a misguided bill would be to discourage responsible teachers from presenting climate science accurately and to encourage irresponsible teachers to misrepresent it as controversial.”

I agree. Nuts and fruits are good...

Agriculture is the destroyer of environment, not simple hydrocarbon production and usage.

Hydrocarbons have promoted a 270% increase in GDP since 1970 while, through efficiency of use, reducing aggregate emissions by over 70%.

Farms are farming our demise, not oil companies. Farmers are reaping and raping, leaving us weeping.

It's time to take back our lands from the true rapers of the environment- farmers. Plow under the under-needed acres and plant.... trees.

So, these 34,487 scientists, including 9,029 Ph.Ds got there degrees just to not be credible? Somehow, I highly doubt any of these scientists were contacted for the survey.

Global Warming Petition Project

Man made global warming is a fraud. From books like meteorologist, Brian Sussman's "Climategate to the DVDs by Dr. Michael Coffman:

Global Warming or Global Governance

Global Warming: Emerging Science and Understanding

These amongst many other documentaries has completely debunked the fraud of man caused global warming. From Climategate, to Al Gore being exposed as frauds, heck in England Al Gore's books and videos can not taught in schools because it was found to too full of serious scientific inaccuracies, political propaganda and sentimental mush.

We can not control what Mother Nature will do, and given that false alarmists propagandizing a fraud have been exposed...Kansas has a right to do this..that pesky 10th Amendment! Hopefully the remaining 49 states, or in the case of Barack Obama the remaining 56 states...they all follow in the path of Kansas on this one. Way to go Kansas!:clap2::clap2:

The impact of agriculture in Kansas has a much more negative impact upon the environment than does the production of oil and natural gas within that state. Kansan farmers fare well at $7 corn and $14 beans while they plow under fertile ground for the sake of their own benefit.

And we go on, paying record prices for groceries.

Till ground for trees, not corn nor beans.

For a minute I thought you were saying they were mandated to listen to anything Al Gore had to say about global warming.

I agree. Global Warming should be presented accurately, as the hoax it is.
