John Wick
This was actually a shockingly good action flick. It was stylish, fast paced, hyper-violent, didn't take itself too seriously, and even managed to pack some rather decent dry wit into its writing.
It also didn't really require that Keanu act, so much as brood, which tends to play to his strengths.
There were some pretty high-profile cameos as well; including the Allstate "Mayhem" Guy in a comic-relief supporting role as the exclusively English speaking American Consigiliere to the Russian mob.
The ending was a bit silly. However, that is ultimately only a very minor complaint.
