It's colder than...

We moved to P-Town in 1973 - it looks like you had moved by that time.

What a small world! My folks still live in Birdland near the sports park on Hopyard.
 
while living in Iowa I had the pleasure of working an a fellas auto...the bill was around 1500 bucks as he had run the car into the ground... 2 weeks later my wife and I took a trip to vegas, after catch the shuttle from tha airport to the casino we were to stay at, as we are getting off the shuttle this guy whos car I had repaired was getting on!!!! wanted to know if he was the one paying for my vacation..... also while working in florida I noticed a car in the lot from montgomery co Iowa... it was a friend of mine that was a travelin salesman who I had not seen for 2 years..
 
About 45 here in the Pacific NW... typical winter weather, really: mostly cloudy, occassional rain, and it doesn't get below about 37-38 degrees at night.
 
Yeah, over the first week of the new year, it snowed about two feet at our house. Never got above freezing. That is all just a bad memory now, thank goodness. I will gladly take our typical rainy winter weather to the cold and snow.
