Imagine that you lead the US deep state, and you are observing the real-time flow of Western technology, industry and next-generation skills to the East with alarm. How will you reverse this trend with one master stroke and temporarily staunch the decline of Pax Americana?

A rapid socio-economic meltdown across Asia might produce this hypothetical outcome, and this is where the current North Korean "crisis" may provide an opening gambit.

Amidst "rising tensions" on the Korean Peninsula – while South Koreans are concerned with noodles, not nukes – the United States has pre-emptively decided what is best for the region.

Yeah, please explain what the fuck you are talking about.

The chances of an escalation are increasing by the day. Nobody wants to think of a worse case scenario, and yet the escalation continues. According to Zero Hedge, the US is testing what appears to be an NK-specific missile.

Just who is the US fighting for in Korea? What is the end game here? If US was concerned with nuclear proliferation, then it should go after Pakistan which has enough jihadi elements within its military brass.

As days drag by, one should expect more protests from South Korean who'd not want their nation to be a theatre of war.

This is not just about South Korea but ALL of Asia will reel from any attack on NK.

That enough of your sockpuppet C&C stupidity.
Permanent Ignore!

Permanent Ignore!

By all means. Wish that attitude was adopted by the US long back. I guess permanent warring for the benefit of a few is the only productive sector of the US economy.

Does it have Un's picture on it?

All of our missiles can go just about anywhere we want. Why would we need a shorter range missile since we have targets in Russia which are further than NK?

Somebody is talking out of their ass.

Who knows? Perhaps, Trump just wants to exude a "tough guy" image as he crosses his 100th day in office. He has made another U-Turn over NAFTA and Mexico within the past 36 hours, I gather.

As an Asian-American, I've been in liberals' crosshairs all my life due to their racist policies against Asians.

I can understand that. Universities often discriminate against students from India to China to the Koreas to make way for greater "foreign diversity."
