Appears they engaged in an internal investigation and he was clearly at fault at the highest level. This is quite rare but not much of a surprise due to the shared outrage of Israelis.

Surely it should not just be one man who falls on his sword for this though, right? This was a failure, almost of biblical proportions and the slow response is unforgivable to the victims and their families.

Still we pray for the peaceful return of the hostages and that minimal harm is committed in this war. Peace for the world extends our species lifeline, war shortens it.

Maj. Gen. Aharon Haliva announced his resignation after he failed to prevent Hamas' unprecedented Oct. 7 attack, the deadliest terror attack in Israel's history, the military said.

"The intelligence directorate under my command did not live up to the task we were entrusted with. I carry that black day with me ever since, day after day, night after night. I will carry the horrible pain of the war with me forever," Haliva wrote in his resignation letter, according to a translation by the Associated Press.

If not then understand that Iran sent a message to America (primarily) and America didn't fail to understand this time.

The Power to Escalate.

You don't understand. It means that a country can hold the power to respond to a small and minor attack, with excessive force and destruction of the enemy attacker. Not an equal and balanced responce.

The Zionist regime held that power but now it's being largely accepted that Iran has cancelled it. America has accepted that Iran has gained the advantage of 'power to escalate' and has warned the Zionists accordingly.

That then means that if Iran strikes the Zionists with overwhelming force and destruction, the Zionists will most likely turn to the use of nuclear weapons.

And then we should all understand that it can't stop with that!
