If you go to the Middle East looking for oil, you don't need to stop in Israel. But, if you're looking for brains, for energy, for integrity, for imagination, it's the only stop you need to make

The World Wildlife Fund, in conjunction with Cleantech Group, just released an index of the top 38 countries in the world which provide “the best conditions” for clean technology startup companies.

Israel came in at number two, just behind Denmark. Sweden and Finland were third and fourth respectively.

The index was put together, “measuring each one’s potential, relative to their economic size, to produce entrepreneurial cleantech start-up companies and commercialise clean technology innovations over the next 10 years”.

In 2011, Israel ranked fourth in clean tech investments, according to a report released by Dual Citizen.

A crowning achievement for Israel’s clean tech sector also came last year, when Pythagoras Solar, an Israeli based startup that develops energy efficient windows which also generate solar power, was selected by Willis Tower, formerly the Sears Tower, to help the building meet its energy efficiency goals.

Israel's endless contributions to humanity is to be commended. But let us also never forget all the Palestinian contributions to humanity.

Hey, what about the Palisimians who trash Israeli yards, thereby giving other Palis the opportunity to get jobs as grounds keepers? Ever think of that?

You see this you Zionists. And who said the Palis just want to leach off of Israel rather than provide for themselves?
