Fighters from the Islamic State reportedly desecrated an Armenian Genocide memorial complex in the eastern Syrian city of Deir ez-Zor, near the site where vast numbers of Armenian refugees were forced to march to their deaths in the early 20th century, Lebanese media outlet Al Mayadeen TV reported.

The Der Zor Memorial Church contains the remains of victims of the Armenian Genocide and is often compared to the Auschwitz death camp in Poland.

If you didn't think IS could stoop any lower, they just did. Even the dead aren't safe it seems. IS really seem intent in showing how sick and twisted they are, and how much they deserve to be put down.

Well IS is basically a coalition of narcissists, rapists, thieves and religious mercenaries. They learnt how torture, rape and massacre from Assad, so now are doing all three in Syria and Iraq. Seems they learned how to be even worse examples of humanity.
