More of this evil bullshit. NO, the country is not becoming more evil, it is acknowledging the freedoms of everyone. Your contentions are incorrect and your point is covering up what you are truly getting at, the mandate of YOUR religion. Prayer is not banned at school, you are allowed to openly pray should you choose too and I can remember many children choosing to do so. What is NOT allowed is the institution having you pray or telling you it is prayer time. The concepts are completely different. There is no 'cleansing' of religion within the government. There is a move to not allow government to support one particular religion over any other. I would agree that there are times when it goes to far. The most recent I can remember is a school that dissolved a bible study group that was meeting and advertising on school grounds. That group was headed and managed by students and as such should have been encouraged, not banned. That is not, however, a sign that we are becoming more evil. It is a sign that we are on the reverse swing in law, it is going a little too far and does need to be corrected.


This country was founded by Christians but was not set up as a Christian nation. It was set up as a free nation and one that valued that freedom above all else. THAT is the life blood of America. People are free to decide what religion they wish to be without the government interfering OR encouraging any single religion and that is the way it should be. Just because we were founded by Christians does not mean that this is a Christian nation.

Americans are the ones who call themselves "the land of the free" and yet they have one, if not the biggest prison populations in the world. And they also attack everyone else, also a not very freedom loving gesture.

Praying isn't going to stop this nation from doing evil.

We have a system that rewards evil people, folks.

Prayer has more power than you think. If it can help the people praying become more aware of their sins, their corruption, and help them eliminate it from their life, how is that bad?

I hate to say this but the US is an empire in decline now, but that is beside the point.

Definition of Evil: That which causes harm, misfortune, suffering, injury, or destruction

The United States is a sum of many parts. One part does not necessarily make it evil (morally bad or wrong) but the proliferation of evil in today’s society, the immoral actions by people in government and immoral actions by the government itself makes the nation evil as a whole.

Society: Crime, disintegration of the family, prostitution, pornography, price gouging, taking advantage of people, and drug abuse are just a few of the actions by society that make it evil. Some are sanctioned by society and some are not.

People in government: Abu Ghraib, abuse of power (Rod Blagojevich), and many more instances of people in government committing evil acts.

Government: Forcible takeover of property for the common good, invading sovereign countries for made up reasons, need I go on?

And this does not even address the turning away from God by the people and government.
