Is Obama's "Suck Tar" Attitude to the Gulf payback for 08?

Obama could not possibly be less interested in helping the Gulf States. The Administration response reeks of half measures, bureaucratic nonsense and outright apathy.

I was curious why this was so and so I checked the Election results from 2008.

Guess what?

With the exception of Florida, the Gulf States went OVERWHELMINGLY for Palin and her running mate McCain.

They carried Louisiana by 18, Mississippi by 14 and Alabama by 21!

No wonder he'd rather go golfing.
