Is America too cynical or religious to imagine humanity continuing past 2050?

A lot of people in my red blooded pick up truck owning American suburb love shows like "The Walking Dead" and "Storage Wars".

America needs a big epic spaceship show to become big.

Is American society too religious to believe in the future?

Many Americans Expect Jesus' Return by 2050

And the liberals seem bogged down by social issues and climate science.

We used to have so many optimistic shows back in the 80s and 90s!

It would be nice to see an epic space show become big on American television!

It is a genre that has been done to death over the years on American TV. It would hard to come up with a new concept that is fresh.

^ Profoundly flawed binary premise.
