BOBO
The Magnificent!
Maybe better said "divided". With the various GOP primary candidates vying to pick votes from the hapless Iowan Evangelical brigade, it's anything goes...
GOP hopefuls likely to split Iowa evangelical vote
I have to feel sorry for the Evangelicals & their state of confusion. On one hand there's Gingrich painting himself a 'family values' man... but in all reality he's well known as a two timing womanizing user on his 3rd marriage.
Santorum sounds good & has a successful married Christian relationship but comes across as part slick loan shark/used car salesman. Ron Paul is a Baptist but wisely keeps religion & politics separate... to the dismay of the Evangelicals. Michele 'little Mary' Bachmann rides the Evangelical ticket like a bitch in heat but appears to lack knowledge where it is needed the most. Perry seems a sincere Christian but comes across as an affable boob. Jon 'the robot' Huntsman is a talented & VERY knowledgeable statesman(most underrated candidate) but is a practicing Mormon. Romney bats a 2nd base hit by offering the Evangelicals both Mormonism & his patented flip flopping at such a grandiose scale as to totally dazzle the minds of all that have ever heard him double speak.
It's small wonder that the Iowan Evangelicals don't know whether to shit or go blind as far as picking out a GOP candidate. I mean they have a self professed Christian womanizer, a slick 'I got a bridge to sell ya' looking candidate, a christian woman that does not know what she's doing, a Baptist that believes in separation of church & state, an affable boob Christian, & the two Mormon boys. I'd suggest the Evangelicals keep their faith out of the political arena & vote Paul for Constitutionally based government & individual liberties... but the Evangelicals seem to think their on a mission. Anyone seeing a particular GOP candidate the Evangelicals will start swarming to during the next week?
