Did Rubio's campaign do this after they were informed by Dr. Carson that he was still in the race? You see it's not about the rumor. It's about learning the truth and still moving forward with the lie.

“The Cruz speakers at our caucus announced Carson was suspending his campaign for a while after caucus. They did this before the vote. Same thing happened at another caucus. Sounds like slimy Cruzing to me,” the text read.

Jason Osborne, Carson’s deputy senior strategist, read aloud another missive, this one an email from their precinct chair in Muscatine: “The guy speaking for Ted Cruz right before the vote, he was supposed to be done, he announced that there was a story on CNN that Ben Carson was taking a break after Iowa, and then stated, ‘So you might want to rethink wasting your vote on him."

Actually Rubio's guy Conrad Close stated Rubio's people were pushing the rumor that Carson had dropped out before the CNN story broke. Go figure.

I went to Close’s Twitter feed, did a search for Marco Rubio, found the tweet, took a screen shot and sent it to a friend. That was at 7:29 pm Mountain time, just after Rubio slammed Cruz with the claim that you would never find him spreading lies about other candidates to get votes.
At 7:30 pm Mountain time, my friend clicked on the link to the tweet — and the tweet was gone…
…Why is one candidate, Cruz, being vehemently attacked from numerous angles and another, Rubio, left untouched? Why is Cruz being held personally responsible for the actions of one person on his campaign, but there Rubio is not?

The lay of the land was laid bare in Iowa last night: No matter what the progressives instruct the mainstream media to say, conservatism is alive and well in battered America.

Conservatives reopened the steel barred door letting through the masses, and it will be up to the masses and not the high-handed media to keep the movement going to restore America to what she was before Obama began his unsolicited mission of misery and destruction.

The talking heads of the television networks, the mainstream media who kept the narrative alive that conservatism in America was over through their non-stop repetitions—and deadly wrong—polls have been left in an easily seen tailspin.

Madam Clinton, even while boosted by George Soros’ millions, a Google-run campaign, and as Obama’s heir apparent was almost bested by a 74-year-old self-identified Socialist.

There’s no time—nor should there be—for gloating, no time for wrongly-placed sentimental regret.

Donald J. Trump, who courageously stood up to the media and Islamic terrorism, Dr. Ben Carson and others, with so much to offer, are still there. They will be needed more than ever in a collective effort, main goal of which is to make America great again.

Hillary Clinton, poised to carry on Obama’s obsessive Fundamental Transformation of America is still there, and the biggest threat to liberty and freedom as long as she is.

Don’t believe for a moment that Bill Clinton’s wife will be indicted over her ongoing email scandal. Don’t believe for a second that Obama will be impeached.

Never underestimate the GOP's ability to snatch defeat from certain victory. Trump needs to settle back into a groove before he implodes Cruz and Rubio own him at the moment. Meanwhile Cruz and Rubio are playing gutter politics now the gloves are off.

The Cruz campaign sent out an official Government-seeming mailer, basically lying to people so that Cruz got votes slated for Carson.

Keep this in mind. If Trump won Iowa, Cruze would not have been able to stop his momentum.

Iowa was Waterloo - and Trump lost huge.

Trump now looks whiney and weak. His strength is slipping and he will likely implode. Voters will see his weakness and defect. Rubio will win New Hampshire and Trump will be gone before summer.

By stealing Iowa, Cruz may have altered the course of history.

Some of us are not impressed by a candidates "strength". I suppose if we were in the days of conan that barbarian I would be impressed if my king could slay a mountain lion with his fist. He would show he is the strongest but I kind of think we are in a more civilized age when we may pick a candidate on other attributes.

New audio obtained exclusively by Breitbart News indicates that as the Iowa caucuses began on Monday night, the Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) campaign called precinct captains informing them that Dr. Ben Carson was suspending campaigning, and instructing them to tell voters they should “not waste a vote on Ben Carson and vote for Ted Cruz.”

The calls were placed after the Carson campaign had already clarified that Carson was not suspending his campaign.
