In the first video, he never mentions the word rape. He is not advocating for rape in any way, shape, or form. We need to have a more open mind when evaluating non-Western cultures and stop looking at things from our limited worldview. In the second video, he is warning about the dangers of domestic violence and the precautions that should be taken to prevent injury. He understands that simply wishing that no man will ever lay a hand on his wife is not realistic no matter how badly you wish it to be so. What he is saying is, control yourself and be careful. Show compassion and concern for your wife's well being. We have a lot to learn from a historically rich culture like that, especially if we are open minded liberal atheists. They are showing an open-mindedness reaching out to become part of our culture. We should welcome them with fair treatment and an open mind. In some ways, conservative Christians have more in common than Islamic fundamentalists than then they may think. Here is a video that says something similar that is taking hold in certain Western religious sectors. We don't criticize that and say they don't belong here. We need to keep an open mind.
